2009 COLD RIVER CAMP
Summer Full Service and Extension Week Rates
• In same cabin with parents/adults. Age is as of 7/1/2009
Summer daily rate is weekly rate / 5, Extension period requires a 2 night minimum.stay
All-inclusive summer and extension rates cover all meals, lodging, taxes, firewood, ice and support of AMC programs.You need both the AMC Reservations Form and the AMC Liability-Waiver Form to apply for a reservation. Both forms must be filled in and mailed to the registrar to make a reservation. Maximum 10 (ten) names per reservation envelope. The reservation forms are processed by lottery in postmark order commencing April 1. Do not mail before April 1. If postmarked before April 1 it will not be processed. A deposit if $200/person/week ($100/person for extension season) is required. For payment, only cash or checks are accepted. Camp cannot accept credit cards. Make checks payable to AMC-Cold River Camp. Please provide a self-addressed-stamped-envelope for confirmation/reply. Please ensure that each and every person registering has provided an appropriately signed AMC Liability-Waiver Form. Without these forms, the reservation request will be rejected.
The Reservations Form asks for a list of up to 3 "preferred locations at camp". If you have a preference for a particular cabin please list it but you may not be assigned to any of the ones you list. Cabin names and locations are shown on the CRC map. There are two types of cabins, the ravine cabins that are available for adults only and the family cabins which can accommodate from 1 to 6 guests, Of the ravine cabins, Villa can only accommodate 1 guest while the others, Alice, Fernbank, Notchview, Springhaven, Baldface, Potter, Big Birch, Hemlock, Mohican, Tall Pine, and Little Deer, can accommodate 2 guests in each. For the family cabins, Larry's Lair and Chalet can accommodate 1 each; Sam's Place can accommodate 2; Purple Mountain and Meaderview can accommodate 3 each; the duplex cabins (east and west sides) Porter, Owl's Nest, and Ledge View can accommodate 2 each side; and the duplex cabins (east and west sides) Cox, Royce, and Speckled Mountain can accommodate 3 each side. In addition, the Barracks has an open bunk room that can accommodate 6 and the Tower can accommodate 2 on the first floor and 4 on the second floor. Both the Barracks and Tower have electricity, running water and toilet facilities.
Cancellations received prior to June 29 will obtain a 50% refund of deposit. No refund will be allowed after that date. Reservation deposits are not transferable. In fairness to those denied space, any cancellations received within two weeks of your arrival date will be billed in full for your entire scheduled stay.
July/August reservations are for a full-week, Saturday to Saturday. Partial week reservations will only be accepted after 6/20 with a minimum stay of 3 nights. However, 3-night stays that include Friday and Saturday nights are unusual; call the Camp Managers to discuss. The daily rate is 20% of weekly rate.
